Founded in 1997, for over 25 years Kickstart Arts has been dedicated to turning the story around by facilitating community-focussed arts and cultural development to address positive social change, and improve community health and wellbeing. 

In 2023 our site is home to thirteen artists in residence and nine organisations including The Story Island Project, DRILL, MADE, The Nipaluna Nursery and The Sunlight Kitchen. We also host dozens of community and arts groups, multicultural groups, and dance companies who come to our site to foster connection and creativity.
