A small, historic public hall located in the picturesque Matcham and Holgate Valley. Built in 1916 by members of the community to serve as a focus for activities and entertainment. In the early years, the Hall was used for community dances and get togethers, for Sunday Services and meetings on community issues. Matcham Hall is available for hire for any appropriate function or meeting at very reasonable rates. The Committee are committed to supporting worthwhile community events while protecting the special character of our rural environment. Recently renovated the hall has a well sized and equiped kitchen, external toilets (disability equiped), undercover outside area, tables and chairs. BBQ, crockery and cutlery available (extra cost).
